Our Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir sings most Sundays throughout the school year. They meet for rehearsal each Wednesday evening at 7:30. The Choir sings regularly for Sunday worship. The Choir Room is in the room with the piano at the southeastern corner of the building--just at the top of the stairs at the new entrance. You may call the Director of Music for further information.

Our Pipe Organ

The pipe organ at Bethlehem Lutheran Church has two manuals and pedal and sixteen ranks of pipes. The instrument was built around 1927 by the Hinners Organ Company for Immanuel Lutheran Church in Carrollton, MO. In 1977 Bethlehem congregation purchased the organ from Immanuel and contracted with Michael Quimby to move it and install it in the church in Warrensburg.

Changes in the tonal design at that time included the addition of principal ranks at 4' and 2' pitch and a mixture; the former aeoline stop was retuned to create a voix celeste. Later a trumpet stop was added. In 1995 the original Hinners console was replaced with a used Moeller console. The organ and the console are located in the rear gallery of the church. The organ makes a major contribution to the worship life of the congregation.
