Since the time of Martin Luther, the Lutheran Church has been known as the "singing church". We continue to enrich our worship and celebrations with a priceless collection of liturgies, choral works, and hymns through which we express our faith. Bethlehem is blessed with many gifted musicians who continue in this rich tradition and lift our spirits each week. On any given Sunday you may hear the organ, flute, oboe, French horn, guitar, dulcimer, marimba or piano. Our Director of Music is Paula Easterwood, and if you have a musical talent, she would love to make you part of the musician's group!
Greetings and Salutations!
The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Choir will officially begin the 2019-2020 season on Wednesday, September 4, at 7 p.m. in the conference room. New participants are welcome and encouraged! Bring your friends! Bring your family! The ability to read music (or even carry a tune in a lidded bucket) is not required. Neither is there any age restriction beyond old enough to read. All that is required is a desire to make a joyful noise to the Lord, and a commitment to grow and serve with your fellow choir members.
I look forward to singing with you this year!
