Bethlehem joins and shares with other Braille Workers around the world by going to Concordia Lutheran Church each month (1st Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 4/4:30 p.m.) to make copies of a book that contains 3 books of the Bible. If interested in joining us please call Beryleen Dodson at 660-909-1925.

Braille Workers’ will be hosting a “Dining in the Dark” fundraiser meal on Friday, October 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Bethlehem.  Dining in the Dark will offer participants to opportunity to “walk a mile” in the shoes of a person severely visually impaired, to experience blindness in a safe and accepting environment in the time it takes to enjoy a good meal.  This dining experience is enjoyed in no light.  It is guaranteed you will discover senses you didn’t know you had as you share in this fellowship meal in total darkness.  Tickets are $15 per person and include the meal, drink and dessert.  Tickets may be obtained from the church office or any of the Braille Workers.
