Bethlehem helps at Food Center

June was Bethlehems month to help at the Warrensburg Food Center. A special thanks to Ruth Johns for organizing this wonderful endeavor.

July is our month to help out at the Clothes Closet on each Monday in July from 8 - noon. A sign up sheet has been posted on the bulletin board.

The mail-boxes have been reorganized! Be sure to check and see where yours has moved to.

Fellowship Opportunities

The Wednesday morning Bible Study meets every Wednesday morning at 10:30.

Merry Widows--Meet once a month for fellowship and lunch, usually the third Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m.

"We Can Exercise" meets every Thursday Morning at 9 a.m. Bring two cans of food to use as weights. After the class is over the food will be left to go to the Warrensburg Food Center.

Recycling -- Please continue to save or pick up aluminum cans and drop them in the barrels in the shed behind the church. If you do not know the combination, call the office at 747-6742. All proceeds will be donated to World Hunger Relief. If you have questions, contact Esther Keseman. Last year we donated $160.09 to World Relief from can recycling.

Opportunities to Serve

Braille Workers -- First Tuesday afternoon of the month. For information, contact Barbara Compton.

Clothes Closet -- Throughout the year they are always in need of workers to sort and hang clothes on Mondays or Fridays (8-noon). The Clothes Closet is located in the Variety Mart Building on S. Highway 13 at the edge of town.

Food Center -- June is Bethlehems month to work at the Center, a sign up sheet has been posted on the bulletin board. If you have questions please about the Food Center contact either Ruth Johns or Bill McCandless.

Prayer Shawl Ministry -- If you would like to help this new ministry by crocheting, knitting, quilting or sewing shawls please contact Cindy Conen.

Salvation Army -- Always needs help from 9-5 Monday through Friday. The store is located on the corner of Holden and Culton Streets.

Flowers on the Altar

If you would like to place flowers on the Altar to celebrate, honor, or give thanks, contact Maxine Jaeger or Lana Vanderburgh.
